The Jayavarman is a beautiful ship that showcases fine art pieces throughout its public decks, resembling a floating art gallery. Its charming French-Colonial design, combined with stylish Art-Deco accents, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes guests feel at home from the moment they step on board. The ship sails on various itineraries along the lower Mekong between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Itinerary

Day 1

Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho - Cai Be (L/D)

Board your ship which sails in the afternoon. When approaching Cai Be, the Ship drops anchor midstream.

 

Day 2

Cai Be – Sa Dec – Chau Doc (B/L/D)

Join for a Tai Chi lesson and then visit Cai Be’s boisterous and colourful floating market on a traditional sampan boat. Later, visit villages along the Mekong to observe local life and home-based businesses producing rice paper, rice wine, candies, etc. Afternoon, cruise sails to Sa Dec and there, you will take a sampan to visit Binh Thanh village.

Day 3

Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (B/L/D)

Take a short tour of Chau Doc, a pleasant town near the Cambodian border with Chinese, Kinh and Khmer communities. The visit takes to a few small islands to see village life, a fish farm and a local market popular for fresh produce. The cruise continues to Phnom Penh.

 

Day 4

Phnom Penh (B/L/D)

Morning tour includes a visit to Killing Field, the Genocide Museum, see the dazzling white and the gold edifice of the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, and witness exceptionally beautiful Khmer craft at the National Museum.

 

Phnom Penh – Angkor Ban – Kampong Cham (B/L/D)

Sail from Phnom Penh with stops en route at little known Silk Island, pass by the Mekong’s tranquil villages, exhilarating river life and sun-hardened fishermen on their swift boats. Afternoon tour, Angkor Ban village, totally unaffected by modernization and development.

 

Day 6

Kampong Cham – Kampong Chhang (B/L/D)

Early morning journey to the pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey - either take a motor-taxi or climb 303 steps to the top. Return to the Ship to witness a blessing ceremony performed by orange-clad local monks. Lunch on board. You will then cruise towards Kampong Cham to visit Wat Nokor, a Wat built within the ruins of an ancient temple which holds a timeless story.

 

Day 7

Kampong Chhnang (B/L/D)

Sail into Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia’s “Water World” where everything is on stilts balanced on water-rich soil. Visit the Khmer-styled pottery at the Aundaung Russey village. Return to the Ship for lunch.

 

Day 8

Tonle Sap – Siem Reap (B)

Tonle Sap still enjoys the quiet tranquility on the way to Siem Reap. The Cruise program ends with your transfer to Victoria Angkor Hotel.

Includes: Accommodation for 7 nights including all main meals, group transfers and sightseeing as indicated with local English speaking guides, entrance fees.
