Itinerary

Day 1

Yangon

Arrive in Yangon and transfer to Hotel.

Day 2

Yangon (B)

Today you will go for full day city tour visiting the Kandawgyi Lake, reclining Buddha Chaukhtatkyi, China town, “Scott Market” and Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 3

Yangon - Bagan (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, you will start your tour of Bagan and visit the Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Ananda Pagoda, the brick monastery of Ananda Ok Kyaung, Htilominlo Temple, Sulamani Temple, Dhammayangyi Temple and Thatbyinnyu Temple, Later transfer to your hotel. Late afternoon enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Irrawaddy River.

Day 4

Today you will start your tour again and visit some impressive pagodas and temples in the southeast of Bagan. You will visit Manuha Temple, Nanpaya shrine, Gubaukgyi Temple and Lawkananda Pagoda. Conclude your day with witnessing a sunset view of Bagan from one of the tallest Pagoda in Bagan.

Day 5

Bagan – Mt Popa – Bagan (B)

Today you will head to drive to Mt. Popa an extinct volcano. On top of the mountain, there are monasteries, pagodas and shrines in different styles. Return to Bagan for breathtaking sunset at Pya That Gyi Pagoda.

Day 6

Bagan – Mandalay (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a small ferry to Inwa and explore the ancient capital by horse cart. Later visit the ancient town named Amarapura, starting from Mahagandayon Monastery. Conclude the day with a visit to U-Bein Bridge, which is a 1.2km long teak bridge over the Taung Thaman Lake. Enjoy the sunset from U-Bein Bridge.

Day 7

Mandalay (B)

This morning travel to Mingun and visit the Settawya pagoda, unfinished Mingun pagoda and walk to the huge Mingun Bell (90 tons), the largest hung an uncracked bell in the world. Then continue to Hsinbyume Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Return to Mandalay and afternoon visit the Mahamyatmuni Pagoda and the Kuthodaw Pagoda (Worlds largest Book). Late afternoon visits the Mandalay hill to see the sunset view of the city.

Day 8

Mandalay – Heho – Inle (B)

This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. Visit the Pindaya cave, set high on a limestone ridge above Pone Taloke Lake, this winding complex of natural caves and tunnels is filled to bursting with Buddha images in an astonishing variety of shapes, sizes and materials. Later, travel to Nyang shwe to board your private boat to the hotel. Explore the local life along the way.

Day 9

Inle (B)

Take a private boat on Inle Lake and visit the 5-day market. Continue by a boat ride to Indein, the village of Pa-Oh, at the western end of the Lake. Explore the Indein Pagoda complex consisting of hundreds of small stupas.

Day 10

Inle – Heho – Yangon (B)

Morning explore the Inle lake visiting the cheroot factory, weaving village, and the monastery of the Burmese cat. Later, travel to Heho to board the afternoon flight to Yangon.

Day 11

Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo (B)

Early this morning travel to Kyaikhtiyo. From the base camp board the public open-air truck to the hill and walk to the Golden Rock. A huge boulder covered by golden leaves and delicately balanced on a cliff. 

Day 12

Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon (B)

Today morning you will again visit Golden rock. Later return to your hotel and travel to Yangon. En-route stop at Bago to visit the city and the reclining Buddha statue.

Day 13

Yangon (B)

Transfer to Yangon Airport for onward flight.
