Itinerary

Day 1

Amman

Arrival and transfer to hotel.

 

Day 2

Amman (B)

This morning leave for Petra, on way explore Madaba, Mt. Nebo, where Moses saw the promised Land, the Byzantine church with its unique mosaics, continue to Kerak, visit the crusader's castle, continue to Petra for overnight.

Day 3

Petra (B)

Full day exploring Petra through The winding gorge to a Magnificent city carved out of rose-red rock 2000 years ago by the Nabatean Arabs, return to Petra for overnight.

 

Day 4

Petra – Amman (B)

Leave Petra to Wadi rum desert and explore with a 4x4 W/D jeeps the largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s landscape, return to Amman for overnight.

Day 5

Amman – Tel Aviv (B)

Today drive to Tel Aviv crossing the border to enter the neighbouring country of Israel via Jerash, the city of the Decapolis, in the north of Amman. Visit the ancient Roman city with collonaded streets, and see its ancient baths, the temple on top of the hill and much more. Drive to the Tel Aviv for overnight.

Day 6

Tel Aviv (B)

This morning you will go for a Half-Day City Tour of Tel Aviv and explore the old city of Tel Aviv and the bazzars. Your afternoon is free to explore the city on own.

Day 7

Tel Aviv – Beer Sheba – Masada Dead Sea (B)

Depart Tel Aviv, via Ashdod, Ashkelon and Beersheba, the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, bathhouse, etc. Descend for a possible “float” in the salty water of the world’s lowest place. Via Ein Gedi, proceed to Jerusalem.

Day 8

Jerusalem (B)

Start the day at the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book, then a visiting model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, visit Yad Vashem the official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, established in 1953, located at the foot of Mt. Hertzl. A final visit will be Bethlehem - the birthplace of Jesus at the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square.

Day 9

Jerusalem – Amman (B)

Today you will enter the Old City of Jerusalem, where you’ll see the Western Wall and the actual site of the Second Temple, the Temple Mount. Walk along the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. Later visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Judas betrayed Jesus. Later drive to Amman by crossing the border.

Day 10

Amman (B)

Transfer to the airport.

Includes: Accommodation for 9 nights with meals as specified. Private transfers and tours with local English speaking guides.
