Itinerary

Day 1

Chiang Mai

Arrive in Chiang Mai. Pick up at 13:30 to explore the ancient city of Chiang Mai. Starting with a Sri Lankan style 48 - metre - high chedi in bell shape at Wat Suan Dok. A short drive to visit Wat Phra Sing located within the old city walls and continue to Wat Chedi Luang, the historic centre of Chiang Mai. Then visit Wat Ched Yod and finish today's tour at Wat Chiang Man. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 2

Chiang Mai (B/D)

Enjoy the stunning panoramic views over the city at Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. To reach the temple requires a climb up a 309 - step naga staircase or use the cable car (included) to reach the temple. Relax with a scenic drive to the famous local handicraft artisans at the Thai Home Industry villages of Bo Sang and San Kamphaeng. Enjoy a pleasant Northern Thai Khantoke Dinner accompanied by an authentic Lanna traditional show and performances. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 3

Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai (B/L)

Morning free at your leisure. After Breakfast, join a relaxing long - tail boat to Chiang Rai through the panoramic views of surrounding mountains and jungle of Kok River. Ride past the magnificent local villages of Muser and Karen hill tribes located alongside a river. Arrive Chiang Rai in the afternoon and take a short transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 4

Chiang Rai (B/L)

After breakfast, check out and explore exotic and beautiful local villages of Yao and Akha hill tribes at Mae Chan District. Then visit Mae Sai, the small authentic Thai border town, and continue to the ancient Chiang Saen city. Have a lunch at Imperial Golden Triangle Resort then transfer back to Chiang Rai Airport (included). Transfer to Outer-Chiang Rai hotels will be subject to supplement charges.

Private program - can start any day of the week and can be modified or operated in reverse
