A journey from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka and then to Penang offers a captivating exploration of Malaysia's diverse heritage. Start in Kuala Lumpur, where you can marvel at the Petronas Twin Towers and vibrant markets. A short drive to Melaka reveals a historical treasure trove with its Dutch colonial architecture and lively Jonker Street. Returning to Kuala Lumpur, you can immerse yourself in the city's cosmopolitan flair before heading to Penang. There, you'll delve into rich cultural experiences in George Town, renowned for its preserved colonial buildings and street art. This itinerary promises an ultimate blend of history, culture, and modernity.

Itinerary

Day 1

Kuala Lumpur

Arrive at Kuala Lumpur Airport and you will be transferred to Malacca.

 

Day 2

Malaka (B)

Visit St. Pauls Hill, Porta de Santiago, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum and Jonker Street. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the jetty and embark on a scenic Malacca River Cruise, which takes you past traditional Malaccan houses and Kampung Morten.

Day 3

Malacca – Kuala Lumpur (B)

This morning, you rejoin the highway passing Seremban to Kuala Lumpur - the capital city of Malaysia. Afternoon is at leisure

 

Day 4

Kuala Lumpur (B)

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Petronas Towers, visit Skybridge 86th Floor Observation Deck. After this visit, continue to Batu Caves - a daunting cave where Hindus have erected a sacred shrine devoted to Lord Muruga. Take an orientation tour of the city covering the major historical
landmarks - National Mosque, Merdeka Square, Central Market, Masjid jamek and Chinatown.

Day 5

Kuala Lumpur – Penang (B)

Drive to Penang enroute stopping at the famous Cave Temple & Ubudiah Mosque in Kuala Kangsar- a magnificent building with golden dome. Continue to Penang & cross the Penang Bridge into the island of Penang.

Day 6

Penang (B)

Explore Penang - the Pearl of the Orient. Visits include the Khoo Kongsi clan house, historical Fort Cornwallis and the Thai temple of Wat Chayamangkalaram, which houses reclining Buddha. Visit the legendary Snake Temple, built in 1850 in memory of Chor Soo Kong, by a Buddhist monk
who moved to Penang. Return to the city and visit Pinang Peranakan Mansion with over 1,000 pieces of antiques and collectibles on display.

Day 7

Penang (B)

Visit Kek Lok Si - the largest Buddhist cum Taoist monastery and temple complex with its imposing10,000 Buddha's Pagoda and the tortoise Pond of Longevity. Ascend 830 meters up Penang Hill by the Swiss funicular railway for a panoramic view of the island and mainland.

Day 8

Penang (B/L)

Transfer to Penang Airport for your flight
