After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour of Taipei’s most iconic landmarks. Start with a visit to the National Palace Museum, which holds the world's largest collection of ancient Chinese artifacts. Continue to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a monument that symbolizes a significant chapter in Taiwan’s history. Then, visit the beautifully ornate Lungshan Temple, a reflection of Taiwan's religious heritage, followed by a stop at the modern marvel of Taipei 101, one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. Today, you will leave Taipei and travel to the heart of Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, a picturesque location known for its tranquil beauty and rich indigenous culture. The eastern side of the lake resembles the sun, while the western side resembles the crescent moon. After lunch, enjoy a scenic tour around the lake, visiting Ita Thao Village to learn about the local Thao people, and marvel at the impressive Ci’en Pagoda, which was built by the late President Chiang Kai-shek in memory of his mother. The tour continues with stops at Xuanzang Temple and Wenwu Temple, where you will gain further insights into the area’s religious and cultural significance.

Start your day with breakfast before heading to Tainan, Taiwan's oldest city, known for its rich historical sites. After lunch, continue to Kaohsiung, the island’s bustling harbor city. In Kaohsiung, visit the renowned Fo Guang Shan Monastery, home to the towering Buddha Amitabha statue and over 480 smaller Buddha figures. A monk will provide insights into Buddhism, the most widely practiced religion in Taiwan.

Continue your scenic drive along the South Link Highway to Taitung, where you will spend the night at a serene hot spring resort in Zhiben, known for its therapeutic hot springs.

Today, journey along Taiwan’s stunning east coast, a region renowned for its unspoiled beauty. Explore unique geological formations at Xiaoyeliu and Sanxiantai (Terrace of the Three Immortals), connected to the mainland by an iconic arched bridge. Visit the stone terraces of Shitiping, where the coastal landscape has been shaped by millions of years of sea erosion. Travel by train from Hualien to Yilan, where you will spend the night at a luxurious hot spring hotel.

After breakfast, visit the renowned King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery, where you will learn about the whisky-making process and sample its unique flavors. Conclude your five-day round-island tour with a scenic bus ride back to Taipei City, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or a designated drop-off point.
