Begin in Tashkent, the vibrant capital, before exploring the art and history of Nukus and the haunting beauty of Muynak’s former Aral Sea shores. Continue to the ancient cities of Khiva and Bukhara, where stunning Islamic architecture and centuries-old bazaars await. Visit the birthplace of Tamerlane in Shakhrisabz, and conclude in the magnificent Samarkand, home to the legendary Registan Square and other Silk Road wonders. This tour offers an unforgettable blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.

Itinerary

Day 1

Tashkent

Arrive in Tashkent and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Tashkent – Nukus – Muynak – Nukus

Fly to Nukus and drive to Muynak, a former fishing town once on the Aral Sea. Visit the "Cemetery of Ships" and the Local History Museum to learn about the Aral Sea’s history. Stop by the archaeological complex Mizdakhan en route. Return to Nukus for an overnight stay.

 

Day 3

Nukus – Khiva

Visit the Savitsky Karakalpakstan Art Museum, home to the world’s second-largest Russian avant-garde art collection. After a brief tour of Nukus, drive to Khiva, stopping to see the ancient Khorezm monuments Shylpyk-Kala and Toprak-Kala. 

Day 4

Khiva

Explore the UNESCO-listed Ichan-Kala Fortress on a guided walking tour, visiting iconic sites such as Kunya Ark Citadel, Toshkhovli Palace, Kalta Minor, and Juma Mosque. Enjoy free time in the afternoon before overnighting at your hotel in Khiva. 

Day 5

Khiva – Bukhara

Depart from Khiva for a scenic drive through the Kyzylkum Desert to Bukhara. Enjoy views of the Amudarya River along the way. Arrive in Bukhara in the late afternoon and check in to your hotel for some rest.

 

Day 6

Bukhara

Explore Bukhara’s Old City on a guided walking tour. Visit key landmarks including Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ark Fortress, and the Ismail Samani Mausoleum.

Day 7

Bukhara

Begin your day with a visit to Sitorai-Mokhikhosa, the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara. Continue to the Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi Mausoleum and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. The afternoon is free for personal exploration.

Day 8

Bukhara – Shakhrisabz – Samarkand

Depart for Samarkand with a stop in Shakhrisabz, Tamerlane’s birthplace. Visit the  Mausoleum of Jakhongir, Ak-Saray Palace, and Dor-ut Tilavat Ensemble. Continue your drive to Samarkand and check in to your hotel.

Day 9

Samarkand

Embark on a city tour of Samarkand, visiting Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siyob Bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, and Gur Emir Mausoleum.

Day 10

Samarkand – Tashkent

After checking out, visit Afrasiab Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Explore traditional  papermaking in Koni Ghil village before catching the high-speed train to Tashkent. Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel.

 

Day 11

Tashkent

Take a guided tour of Tashkent, visiting Khast-Imom Complex, Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tilla  Sheikh Mosque, and Chor-Su Bazaar. Explore the city center, including Navoi Theater and Amir Timur Square. Enjoy free time in the afternoon.

 

Day 12

Tashkent

Check out from the hotel and enjoy free time before your transfer to Tashkent International Airport for your departure.
