Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2

Delhi (B)

Morning tour of Old Delhi visiting Jama Mosque, Red Fort and take a rickshaw ride through fabled Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit to New Delhi visiting Humayun’s tomb, drive past Government Buildings, Connaught Place, Presidents House and India Gate.

Day 3

Delhi - Haridwar – Rishikesh (B)

This morning board the train to Haridwar. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the Hotel in Rishikesh. Evening witness the Grand Aarti ceremony on the Ghats of River Ganges in Rishikesh.

Day 4

Rishikesh (B)

Today enjoy an excursion to Rishikesh and explore the spiritual city. Visit Lakshman Jhula; the famous hanging bridge across the Ganges, and  Ram Jhula another suspended bridge close to Lakshman Jhula. Conclude the day with a visit to the various Ashrams on the banks of River Ganges.

Day 5

Rishikesh – Chandigarh (B)

Travel to Chandigarh, the best-planned city in India, with architecture which is world-renowned, and a quality of life, which is unparalleled. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the beautiful city.

Day 6

Chandigarh (B)

Embark on a city tour of Chandigarh visiting the Rose Garden with its 1,600 varieties of roses, Rock Garden spread over an area of forty-acres, it is completely built of industrial & home waste and throw-away items, and conclude the day with a visit to the beautiful Sukhna Lake that lies in the foothills of Shivalik.

Day 7

Chandigarh – Amritsar (B)

Drive to Amritsar, the home of the Sikh religion. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the heritage city.

Day 8

Amritsar (B)

Morning Visit Golden Temple-the most important Sikh shrine also known as Harimandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib followed by a visit to Jallianwala Bagh. In the afternoon, visit the Indo-Pakistan Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony.

Day 9

Amritsar – Dharamshala (B)

Today you drive to Dharamshala. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10

Dharamshala (B)

Explore Dharamshala this morning. Dharamshala is also known as the Land of Lamas, home to the largest Buddhist temple outside Tibet.

Day 11

Dharamshala – Delhi (B)

Transfer to Dharamshala airport to connect flight to Delhi. Transfer to your hotel.

Departure Delhi
