Itinerary

Day 1

Tashkent

Arrive in Tashkent, transfer to the hotel. Begin your exploration of Uzbekistan's capital with your guide, visiting the Old City, including the Khast-Imom Complex, home to the famous Quran of Caliph Uthman. Discover the Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, and the Mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi. Stroll through Chor-Su Bazaar, ride the Tashkent Metro, and visit the Applied Arts Museum before concluding your city tour at Amir Timur Square.

Day 2

Tashkent – Kokand – Fergana

At 07:00, transfer to the train station for your journey to Kokand on train №60, departing at 08:05 and arriving at 12:00. Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver for a sightseeing tour in the Fergana Valley, including visits to the Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque, and Norbut-biy Madrasah. Afterward, drive to Fergana city (80 km) and relax in Akhmad Al- Fergani Park.

 

Day 3

Fergana – Margilan – Rishtan – Tashkent

In the morning, drive from Fergana to Margilan to visit the Said Akhmad-Khoja Madrasah, known for its carpet and silk craftsmen. Explore the traditional market and tour the Yodgorlik Silk factory to witness the silk-making process. If it's Thursday or Sunday, visit the vibrant Kumtepa Bazaar. Next, head to Rishtan to meet renowned ceramic master Rustam Usmanov and participate in a pottery workshop. After exploring Rishtan, return to Tashkent.

Day 4

Tashkent – Samarkand

At 07:00, transfer to the railway station for the fast-speed train “Afrosiyob,” departing Tashkent at 08:00 and arriving in Samarkand at 10:10 (300 km). Your guide and driver will greet you at the station for a city tour, including the stunning Registan Square, the Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siyob Bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, and the Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Tamerlane.

Day 5

Samarkand

Continue your sightseeing in Samarkand by visiting the Afrosiyob Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then, head to Koni Ghil village to learn about traditional Samarkand paper- making from mulberry. Enjoy some free time with a car and driver at your disposal after your tour.

Day 6

Samarkand – Bukhara

In the morning, depart Samarkand for Bukhara (280 km, 4 h*), stopping at the historic Rabati-Malik Caravanserai along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel before exploring the captivating Old Bukhara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit significant landmarks such as the Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Magoki-Attori Mosque, and the madrasahs of Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan. Don’t miss the trade domes, Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, and Chor-Minor Madrasah.

Day 7

Bukhara

Begin your day in Bukhara by visiting the Ark Fortress and Bolo-Khauz Mosque, followed by the Samani dynasty mausoleum and Chashma-Ayub. Continue to Sitorai-Mokhikhosa, the summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir, showcasing a blend of Oriental and Russian architecture. Afterward, visit the Mausoleum of Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon.

Day 8

Bukhara – Khiva

Depart Bukhara in the morning for Khiva (480 km, 7-8 h*), traveling through the Kyzylkum Desert, once part of the Great Silk Road. Enjoy stunning views of the desert and the Amudarya River along the way. Arrive in Khiva by late afternoon and check in to your hotel, where you can relax for the evening.

Day 9

Khiva – Urgench – Tashkent

Check out from your hotel by noon and begin your tour of the Ichan-Kala Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore notable sites including Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Kalta Minor, Juma Mosque, Toshkhovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, and Islom Khodja Minaret, the tallest in Uzbekistan. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon before being transferred to Urgench airport for your flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 10

Tashkent

Check out from the hotel by noon and enjoy your free time until your transfer to Tashkent International Airport for departure.
