Itinerary

Day 1

Tashkent

Arrive in Tashkent and transfer to your hotel, where you'll check in at noon. Meet your guide to explore the capital, starting with the Old City, home to the Khast-Imom Complex, which houses the famous Quran of Caliph Uthman. Visit the Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, and the Mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi. After exploring the vibrant Chor-Su Bazaar, take a ride on the Tashkent Metro to the city center, visiting the Applied  Arts Museum and ending at Amir Timur Square.

Day 2

Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva

Enjoy an early morning transfer to the local airport for a flight to Urgench. Upon arrival, transfer to Khiva, just 30 km away. After checking in at the hotel, embark on a guided walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Kala Fortress. Visit the Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Kalta Minor, Juma Mosque, and other historic sites.

 

Day 3

Khiva – Bukhara

Depart Khiva in the morning for a scenic drive to Bukhara, approximately 480 km away. As you travel through the Kyzylkum Desert, enjoy views of the Amudarya River. Arrive in Bukhara late in the afternoon, check in to your hotel, and take some time to rest and unwind for the evening.

 

Day 4

Bukhara

Explore Bukhara’s Old City on a guided walking tour. Visit key sites including the Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Kalyan Minaret, Ark Fortress, and the exquisite madrasahs. Immerse yourself in the rich history and architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage site, and after a day filled with discovery, return to the hotel for the night.

 

Day 5

Bukhara

Start your day at Sitorai-Mokhikhosa, the summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir,  showcasing a unique blend of Oriental and Russian architecture. Continue your exploration with visits to the Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi Mausoleum and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. After a day of cultural insights, enjoy some free time in the afternoon before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 6

Bukhara – Nurata – Yurt Camp

Depart Bukhara in the morning and drive to your yurt camp in the Kyzylkum Desert, stopping at a pottery workshop in Gijduvan and a local mosque in Nurata known for its holy spring water. Arrive at the yurt camp in the afternoon, settle into your yurt, and enjoy camel riding and free time. In the evening, gather around the campfire for dinner with traditional Kazakh folk songs sung by a local akin.

Day 7

Yurt Camp – Samarkand

In the morning, visit the tranquil Aidarkul Lake for some free time. You can choose to take a camel ride to the lake or opt for a shorter ride to the village of Dungalak to participate in bread baking by paying extra charges. After your activity, depart the yurt camp and drive to
Samarkand, arriving in the afternoon. Check in to your hotel and relax. 

Day 8

Samarkand

Meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby for a city tour of Samarkand. Explore the stunning Registan Square, the historic Bibi Khanum Mosque, the lively Siyob Bazaar, the Ulugbek Observatory, and the impressive Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis. Don’t miss the Gur Emir
Mausoleum, the final resting place of Tamerlane. 

Day 9

Samarkand – Tashkent

Check out of your hotel by noon and continue sightseeing in Samarkand. Visit the Afrasiab Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel, then head to Koni Ghil village to learn about the traditional paper-making process. Enjoy some free time after the tour. At 4:00 PM, transfer to the railway station for the fast-speed Afrosiyob train to Tashkent, departing at 5:00 PM. Arrive in Tashkent at 7:10 PM and transfer to your hotel for the night.

Day 10

Tashkent

Check out from your hotel by noon. Spend your remaining free time in Tashkent until your transfer to Tashkent International Airport for departure, concluding your enriching journey through Uzbekistan.
