Itinerary

Day 1

Wednesday: Athens

Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2

Thursday: Athens (B)

This morning you will have a half-day tour and visit Acropolis, en route stop at the stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held. At the Acropolis visit the museum, the towering entrance of Propylaia, the Temple of Nike and the Parthenon.

Day 3

Friday: Athens – Santorini (B)

Transfer to ferry station to catch the ferry to Santorini, on arrival transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 4

Saturday: Santorini (B)

Day at leisure to discover Santorini.

Day 5

Sunday: Santorini – Mykonos (B)

Transfer to ferry station to catch the ferry to Mykonos, on arrival transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 6

Monday: Mykonos (B)

Day at leisure to explore the whitewashed town or head for the beach before experiencing the completely outrageous Mykonian nightlife.

Day 7

Tuesday: Mykonos – Kusadasi (B/D)

Today you will catch a midday ferry heading towards the island of Samos and then another ferry to Kusadasi, Turkey.

Day 8

Wednesday: Kusadasi (B/D)

Full day guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre before continuing to the former Greek village of Sirince.

Day 9

Thursday: Kusadasi – Pamukkale (B/D)

Drive to Travertines, in Pamukkale and later tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. If time permits take a dip, amongst ancient columns, in the hot springs that were used in Roman times.

Day 10

Friday: Pamukkale – Cappadocia (B/D)

Drive to Cappadocia on route visit Sultanhani Caravansary, the largest in Anatolia. Continue the drive and stop at Goreme for a tour. Later drive to your hotel for overnight.

Day 11

Saturday: Cappadocia (B/D)

Visit the Goreme Valley Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys, and explore the many levels of an underground city.

Day 12

Sunday: Cappadocia – Ankara – Istanbul (B)

Drive to the nation's capital, Ankara, on arrival visit the Anitkabir, the mausoleum of the famed Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Later drive to Istanbul for overnight.

Day 13

Monday: Istanbul (B)

Today go for a half-day tour of Istanbul and visit Topkapi Palace, Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Underground Cistern and the Grand Bazaar.

Day 14

Tuesday: Istanbul (B)

Transfer to the airport.
